The Office of the Press Secretary urged Zaldy Co to finish releasing all his video statements before Malacañang issues an official response, citing numerous inconsistencies in his earlier uploads.
Press Officer Undersecretary Claire Castro said Thursday that Co’s videos—numbered 1 through 5—show noticeable irregularities, including changes in hairstyle and overall appearance, suggesting the recordings were made on different days and possibly adjusted based on public reaction.
Castro noted that in Co’s first two videos, he did not mention any alleged transaction from 2022, instead beginning his narrative in 2024. She added that only after viewers pointed out discrepancies did Co alter his account in subsequent videos.
Because of the shifting appearance and messaging, Castro said it is understandable why some people question whether Co is actually the person featured in all the videos.
Despite these issues, Castro assured the public that the Palace will address Co’s allegations—but only after he has released his full set of claims.
