New Taipei City, Taiwan (October 9, 2025)— Authorities from the Tucheng Police Station have busted a so-called “health club” on Mingde Road that was secretly operating as a front for illegal sex services.
The establishment, which advertised legitimate massage treatments, was discovered to be offering sexual acts disguised as “special services.” Police arrested a total of 11 individuals, including a female receptionist surnamed Ke, five male clients, and five female masseuses involved in the illicit operations.
According to investigators, clients were charged an extra NT$500 for a sexual act commonly referred to as a “half service.” The transactions took place behind closed doors in private rooms. The venue had also installed surveillance cameras and an alarm system to warn employees of potential police raids.
During the operation, police confiscated NT$11,500 in illicit earnings, a smartphone, an alarm remote, eight surveillance cameras, a monitoring system, and used condoms as evidence.
The suspects were taken into custody and the case has been referred to the New Taipei District Prosecutors Office on charges of disturbing public order. The masseuses and clients involved were also penalized under the Social Order Maintenance Act.
Police officials stressed their continued commitment to eliminating illegal adult establishments that degrade community morals. The Tucheng Police Station stated that it would cooperate with other government departments to pursue administrative penalties against the venue and maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents.
