TAICHUNG, Taiwan — October 5, 2025
Largan Precision (3008), one of the world’s top optical lens manufacturers, announced on Sunday that its revenue for September reached NT$6.235 billion, reflecting a 4% month-on-month increase but a 4% year-on-year decline.
For the third quarter of 2025, the company recorded NT$17.677 billion in consolidated revenue, marking a 51% jump compared to the previous quarter but a 7% decrease year-on-year. Cumulatively, its revenue for the first three quarters stood at NT$43.929 billion, up 7% year-on-year. Largan stated that its October sales momentum remains consistent with September’s performance.
The release of Apple’s iPhone 17 series in September, which features major camera system upgrades, has significantly benefited the optical components supply chain. Industry experts anticipate that strong iPhone 17 sales will continue to drive lens demand through the fourth quarter, potentially boosting Largan’s revenue outlook.
Largan Precision is set to hold its earnings conference on October 9, where investors expect updates on new product performance, particularly in robotic applications and camera technology.
In its product mix report, Largan revealed that 10-megapixel lenses accounted for the largest share (60%–70%) of its September shipments. Lenses with 20 million pixels and above comprised 10%–20%, 8-megapixel lenses contributed less than 10%, and other products made up the remaining 10%–20%.
As global smartphone makers push for advanced imaging capabilities, Largan’s precision optics continue to play a key role in defining next-generation camera systems.
