Continuous heavy rainfall caused flooding and landslides in Brgy. Inalmasinan, Caramoran, Catanduanes on Sunday, December 7. Homes in the area were inundated with water and mud, while several roads and residential areas were affected by soil erosion and landslides.
Authorities have been closely monitoring the situation in the affected communities. Residents living in flood- and landslide-prone areas have been advised to evacuate as a precautionary measure.
The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Caramoran continues to coordinate relief efforts and ensure the safety of the local population.
