TESDA Opens FREE Trainers Methodology Level I (TM I) Scholarship; Online Training Now Accepting Applicants

If you’re planning to become a certified trainer or assessor in the future, here’s an opportunity you shouldn’t miss. The TESDA Manila Training and Assessment Center (TMTAC) has officially opened applications for its Trainers Methodology Level I (TM I) program under the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP).

The scholarship is ideal for skilled workers, National Certificate (NC) holders, and professionals who want to develop their teaching and training competencies. One of the biggest advantages of this offering is that the training will be conducted online, making it more accessible to qualified applicants from different areas.

What is Trainers Methodology Level I (TM I)?

Trainers Methodology Level I (TM I) is a TESDA qualification designed for individuals who want to become competent technical-vocational trainers. The program equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to plan, facilitate, assess, and evaluate competency-based training programs in accordance with TESDA standards.

Completing TM I is an important qualification for those aspiring to become trainers in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Holder of a valid TESDA National Certificate (NC)
• College graduate

Documentary Requirements

Qualified applicants should prepare the following:

• Valid National Certificate (NC)
• College Diploma
• Transcript of Records (TOR)
• Birth Certificate
• Valid government-issued ID
• Certificate of Employment
• Four (4) pieces of 1×1 ID picture with name tag (white background)
• Six (6) pieces of passport-size ID picture with name tag (white background)

Training Delivery

Unlike traditional classroom sessions, the TM I scholarship will be delivered online, allowing participants to attend training remotely while completing the required competencies.
