Philippines – November 15, 2025 – Former Ako Bicol Representative Zaldy Co has released photos showing what he claims were suitcases of cash from flood control projects, allegedly delivered to President Bongbong Marcos and former House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
Co maintained that he personally did not receive any money, asserting that his role was limited to delivering the cash to the residences of the President and Romualdez, including locations in North Forbes Park, South Forbes Park, and Malacañang Palace.
In his statement, Co further alleged that 25% of the kickbacks from these projects were designated for the Office of the President.
Authorities have yet to verify the claims, and investigations into the matter are ongoing.
