A tragic discovery shocked residents of Tanzih District, Taichung City, early this morning when a passerby found an infant abandoned in a drainage ditch about two meters deep. The incident was reported around 6 a.m., prompting an immediate response from firefighters and police. Unfortunately, rescuers confirmed that the baby was already deceased upon arrival.
