Taipei, Taiwan — January 26, 2026 — FamilyMart convenience stores in Taiwan have announced that two winning tickets for the NT$10 million Special Prize in the latest uniform invoice lottery draw were issued at its branches in Tamsui, New Taipei City, and Kaohsiung City.
One lucky winner spent only NT$49 on a “Mom’s Cooking” Golden Chicken Leg meal, while another spent less than NT$200 on items such as roasted sweet potatoes, sesame oil chicken rice balls, and a classic hot dog to secure the top jackpot prize.
Two NT$2 Million Special Prizes Also Issued
FamilyMart also confirmed that two NT$2 million Special Prize winning invoices were issued at its Hsinchu Tie-Zhi store and Nanzhou Zhuangtou store. Both winners reportedly spent under NT$300 on purchases to win the substantial prize.
Five NT$200,000 First Prizes Claimed
In addition, five customers won the NT$200,000 First Prize after shopping at FamilyMart branches in Pingtung Changxian, Sanchong Xingfu, Zhonghe Shuangjie, Hu Jie, and Douliu Rongda stores. One of the smallest purchases leading to a first prize was a NT$69 purchase of spicy scallion chicken cold noodles, while other winners bought items such as hot latte coffee, tuna-and-cheese sandwiches, and other convenience foods.
Cloud Invoice NT$1 Million Prizes Encouraged
To promote the use of electronic invoices, Taiwan’s Ministry of Finance also offered NT$1 million prizes for cloud-based invoices. FamilyMart said five winning invoices were issued at its Wugu Penglai, Tucheng Xinlong, Pingzhen Taida, Tainan Xinzai, and Sanchong Central stores.
Winning purchases included tea eggs, traditional black tea, sesame oil chicken rice balls, and even vegetables, with the lowest winning purchase amount reportedly just NT$9.
Government Push for Digital Receipts
Taiwan’s uniform invoice lottery system is designed to encourage consumers to request official receipts and improve tax compliance. Authorities continue to promote cloud invoice adoption as part of Taiwan’s digital transformation initiatives.
