Public Works and Highways Secretary Vince Dizon reiterated his full confidence in President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. as the administration continues to confront allegations surrounding irregularities in flood control projects.

Speaking on Friday, Dizon emphasized that the President himself initiated the probe into the controversy, underscoring Marcos’ commitment to uncovering the truth and ensuring accountability among those involved.

Dizon said his trust in the President stems from Marcos’ decisive action in launching the investigation, expressing certainty that the Chief Executive will also see the process through to its conclusion.

He pledged his continued support as the inquiry moves forward, noting that the administration remains determined to resolve the issue.

“Doon ako kampante… kung ano ang sinimulan ni Pangulo noong SONA, tatapusin din niya — at kasama niya ako sa pagtatapos ng napakalaking iskandalong ito,” Dizon said.

The DPWH chief assured the public that the government is working to uphold transparency and integrity as it addresses the alleged anomalies in the flood control program.
