Before going to Alishan Forest Recreation Area, visit first the Chukou Visitor Center because there is a provided information about the indigenous tribe and its culture. There is also information about the natural beauty of Alishan. The visitor center has some landscape for visitors to look at. The Alishan was very famous for its beautiful sunrise view and the oceans of clouds. And its also known for its Cherry Blossoms.
To saw the view of the clouds it is best to watch in autumn. And they can explore a different area in sites like Alishan hotel, Zaoping Park and Ziyun temple.
