Batangas 1st District Rep. Leandro Legarda Leviste is set to distribute 250,000 Noche Buena packages to Filipino families this Christmas, using funds from his personal resources, his office announced.
The distribution is scheduled to take place in the coming weeks leading up to the holiday season. According to the congressman, the initiative aims to help families enjoy a meaningful and festive celebration despite economic challenges.
Leviste also committed to providing additional Noche Buena packs to other districts outside Batangas, extending the reach of the holiday assistance program.
The lawmaker has been vocal about supporting communities during special occasions and emergencies, and this large-scale distribution forms part of his continuing outreach efforts.
