Philippines – November 15, 2025 – Presidential Communications Office Secretary Dave Gomez urged former Ako Bicol Representative Zaldy Co to return to the Philippines and face the investigation regarding the allegedly irregular flood control projects. Gomez made the statement following the release of Co’s second video on his Facebook page this Saturday.
Gomez described Co’s claims as repetitive and based purely on hearsay. “We may begin to sound like a broken record. What he is saying is a bunch of hearsay—one says this, another says that,” Gomez said.
He added that the second video did not correct or clarify any of the points raised in the first video, noting that the allegations remain unverified.
