A Taiwanese employer recently shared a heartfelt story online, recalling two Filipino migrant workers who once helped his company during a difficult period in 1996. At that time, the business was struggling financially, and wages were low. Despite the hardships, the two Filipino workers stayed and did their best to support the company.

The employer expressed deep gratitude, admitting that he didn’t have the means to properly care for them back then. Eventually, the two workers returned to the Philippines without earning much, leaving a lasting impression on him.

Now, as the Taiwanese government implements new policies allowing qualified migrant workers to extend their stay and continue working in Taiwan, the employer said the announcement brought back memories of the two Filipinas — along with five Thai employees who were also part of his early team.

He shared a public appeal asking for help in locating the two Filipino women. “If any Filipinos recognize them, please contact me. I will be forever thankful and will make sure to express my gratitude,” he said.
