Mulao Elementary School mourns the heartbreaking loss of five of its students following the destructive impact of Typhoon Tino in Compostela, Cebu, last Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
The students who tragically lost their lives were identified as:

In an official statement, the school remembered the children as “intelligent, talented, and full of dreams,” noting that their untimely passing has left a profound void in the community. The administration called on the public to offer prayers and support for the families grieving this devastating loss.
To assist the affected families with immediate expenses, Mulao Elementary School is accepting donations to help provide relief for each household impacted by the tragedy.
“Fly high, little angels. Your memory will live on in our hearts,” the school shared in its message of mourning.
This tragic incident highlights the continuing human toll of Typhoon Tino, which has caused widespread destruction across parts of Cebu and other provinces. The school urges the community to come together in support of the grieving families during this difficult time.
