Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson announced that the next hearing of the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee is scheduled for November 14, 2025. According to the senator, a “highly important witness” will be invited to clarify issues currently under investigation by the committee.
Although the witness’s identity has not been disclosed, Lacson assured the public that the person has direct knowledge of the corruption allegations being examined. Also invited to the hearing is retired T/Sgt. Orly Guteza, who is expected to provide additional information to support the investigation.
The hearing is part of the Senate’s ongoing probe into alleged irregularities in the use of government funds. Lacson urged the public to follow the proceedings closely due to the significance of the matters under discussion.
“Public participation is crucial to hold those involved in corruption accountable,” Lacson emphasized. He added that the upcoming hearing is expected to shed light on the questions and controversies surrounding the issue.
