Thousands of employment opportunities in Croatia’s hotel and hospitality sector are now available for qualified Filipino workers, following a new bilateral labor agreement signed between the Philippines’ Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and Croatia’s Ministry of Labor.
The available positions include housekeepers, waiters, bartenders, receptionists, and kitchen crew for hotels and resorts across Croatia. These job openings will be highlighted during the upcoming Croatia Job Fair, where pre-qualified applicants can apply through an official government-to-government recruitment program.
According to the DMW, successful applicants can expect a starting monthly salary of around ₱60,000, with potential earnings of up to ₱100,000 depending on their role, qualifications, and experience.
One of the most notable aspects of this deployment is that it will be conducted without any placement fees, ensuring a transparent and ethical hiring process that fully complies with international labor standards.
The agreement also ensures streamlined documentation procedures, pre-departure orientation, and enhanced worker protection mechanisms to guarantee the welfare and safety of all Filipino workers bound for Croatia.
Croatia’s rapidly expanding tourism and hospitality industry continues to face a strong demand for skilled labor, and Filipino hospitality professionals — known for their competence, adaptability, and service excellence — are expected to play a vital role in supporting the country’s workforce needs.
The DMW encouraged interested applicants to monitor official announcements for job fair dates and detailed application procedures through verified government recruitment channels.
