MANILA, Philippines (October 11, 2025)— The House of Representatives is not prioritizing any impeachment complaint against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., according to House Speaker Jose “Bojie” Dy III.

Speaker Dy said that the country is currently facing several pressing issues that require immediate attention, and the legislature should focus on addressing these concerns first.

His statement came in response to media reports claiming that Rep. Francisco “Kiko” Barzaga of Dasmariñas City plans to file an impeachment complaint against the President.

Dy clarified that no such complaint has been formally filed in the House and that lawmakers are currently focused on deliberating important national matters.

He also assured the public that under his leadership, the House will continue to push for policies that strengthen agriculture, ensure food security, promote accountability, and deliver tangible results for the Filipino people.
